Frequently Asked Questions

HOW DO I BOOK AN APPOINTMENT?

Please start buy clicking on a Tattoo Artist above. Once you’ve filled out a tattoo request, we will contact you back to answer any questions or gather any more information required to begin your consultation process.

HOW MUCH DOES A TATTOO COST?

Every artist will charge a different set rate or hourly rate depending on which artist you would like to work with. Also a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit (ranging from $120 to $200) is required to hold your appointment date. But this deposit will go towards the final price of your tattoo. The total cost of the tattoo will depend on size, detail of the design, and the amount of time required to complete this tattoo.

DO YOU TAKE WALK-INS?

Yes, walk ins are always welcomed.

HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO GET A TATTOO?

You must be at least 18 years of age. It's against South Carolina State law to tattoo a minor, even with parental consent. In accordance to this law, We have a strict No Minors policy. Not only must you be 18, you will also be required to have a valid State or Federal Photo ID. No exceptions.

DOES IT HURT?

Yes, all tattoos hurt! Depending on the area of the body, some areas hurt more or less. But your brain will releases endorphins when you go through pain and your body loves endorphins, so this experience will be a little soothing as well.

HOW LONG DOES A TATTOO TAKE TO HEAL?

It takes two to three weeks to “heal,” but it takes months for the skin to fully regenerate.

HOW DO I CARE FOR MY NEW TATTOO?

Every shop has their own recommended care methods but you will be given after care instructions after you’ve been tattooed.

WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED?

We accept most forms of payments. Please consult with the artist you are working with to see which forms of payment they accept. We also accept cards through Square and have an ATM onsite for cash as well. No checks.

DO I NEED TO LEAVE A DEPOSIT IF I DECIDE TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?

Yes. A deposit (ranging from $120 to $200 depending on which artist you decide to work with) is required to make an appointment. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable and will go towards the final cost of your tattoo.

HOW SHOULD I PREPARE FOR MY TATTOO?

We recommend that you eat well before you come in and remember to stay hydrated. If you start to feel woozy, have a soda. Sugar will aid you in these situations. Being active all day in the summer without drinking any water and then coming to get tattooed on an empty stomach is a sure recipe for passing out.

It’s also best not to party the night before as well because alcohol can increase bleeding for up to 24 hours. Blood also dilutes the pigments, affecting both the appearance of your tattoo as well as the healing process.

Remember to stay cool and calm, you’re in good hands. There’s nothing to stress over - it’s just a tattoo!
